MATH ON OLYMPIAD CHECKLIST
 Physical structure

Maintenance
-caretaker staff: 1 (gym clean, set up of tables and chairs, dismantle at closing)

Staff/Volunteers
Music (student) -1
Video Recording (students): 2
-Hosts (students): 1
-Registration officers (students):4
(register and welcome teams, give them team supplies-t-shirts, pencils, erasers, rulers, notepad, calculators)
-Student checkers:12 plus two spares (trained as both checkers and timers)
(responsible for checking team answers and guiding team from one table to the next)

Teacher supervision: math teachers ( general guidance of competition)
-Adjudicators (control table) Adults: 3
(responsible for team scores, times and placement)
-Finish Line Judge – 1 (Adult), Referee – 1 (adult)

-Timers (students): 6
-Refreshments -2 students

Materials needed
72 T-shirts for teams, 42 T-shirts for staff (optional)
Suggested “Math Swag” – pencils, erasers, rulers, calculators, notepads
Individual name tags
Official sign/banner
Official 2007 Olympiad Questions
Olympiad answer tags and checker folders (12)
Posters (4) with challenge questions (optional – see attached
Description of Poster Problem Solving Activity)
Participant Certificates: 72
1st, 2nd, 3rd and Diamond medals- 16 (optional – ribbons?)
Championship Round: 1st, 2nd, 3rd medal
