Zone Awards Summary
Grade Level Awards
1st, 2nd, 3rd place and Diamond Awards for each grade Level
Round. The diamond Award is presented to the team which has the highest
number of unused answer tags when finished
Top Overall School Award
The total position points for all six teams will be combined. The school with the lowest total position points will win the Top Overall School Award.
In the event of a tie, the school with the most top place finishers will win. i.e. If school A has two first place finishes and school B has the same total
position points but only 1 first place finish, than School A will win the Top Overall School Award.
Provincial
Competition
The top 6 schools from the Zone Olympiad Competitions will advance to the
Provincial Olympiad Competition where they will compete against
five other schools chosen from Zone Competitions. The top 4
teams from each grade level from the Zone Olympiad Competitions
will advance to the Provincial Olympiad Competition to compete
in a Challenge Round.
